Hey, scent squad! I’m Stephy, the cat-loving, chaos-craving creative behind Freshies by Stephy, a family-operated Baltimore, MD crew making custom car fresheners that are anything but ordinary. At Freshies by Stephy, it’s Your Photo, Your Scent, Our Freshies! With my fiancé Nick, my teenage son Brayden, and my redheaded younger son Audi, we’re turning car stink into personalized works of art, handcrafted in the USA with love, glitter, and just the right amount of snark.
How Freshies Became My Jam
Years before freshies stole my heart, I was a crafting chameleon. Jewelry, activewear, candles, cement vessels, you name it. But nothing felt unique enough for my “gotta-be-different” soul. Then I spotted some freshies out West, not my style but total lightbulb moment. Baltimore had zilch, so I went full nerd-mode, researching everything freshie for months. I bought the gear, booked a pricey spot at Towson Spring Festival, and baked 200 freshies, nose-blind and stressing while Nick and Brayden swore they smelled amazing. My sister rolled into town to help, and we slung those freshies like nobody’s business, selling over 80 and turning heads. I took that cash, booked 4–5 more events, and Freshies by Stephy took off like a Baltimore crab feast. Nick, my ride-or-die, said, “Steph, you’ve found your groove NOW stick with it.” Since then, I’ve been perfecting my freshie craft.
Meet the Family Hustle
I’m Stephy, the master multitasker (and master forgetter - don’t @ me), always dreaming up the next wild freshie idea while dodging glitter avalanches. My fiancé, Nick, the Bead-and-Bow Bandit, sometimes picks beads and bows with his unique taste, freeing me to create. My teenager, Brayden, tackles odds and ends like a pro, giving me more time to bake freshies. And then there’s my redheaded son, Audi, who.... hold the phone - crafted our Rizz Refresher odor eliminator spray. We’re a family-operated crew, fueled by love, cats (dogs? Hard pass), and a passion for standing out.
